Delegates and Members enjoying the afternoons' guest speaker Esme Young, who started the fashion label Swanky Modes in the 80s with four best friends. Esme is most well known for her career as a costume designer. She became a judge on the Great British Sewing Bee in 2016.

In May the walking group enjoyed a walk at Sheet's Heath, a beautiful spot managed by the Surrey Heathland Partnership on behalf of woking Borough Council.
Our visit to West Horsley Place in May which Bamber Gascoigne inherited and set up as a charity, the Mary Rosburghe Trust, who are restoring the building.

In June our monthly walk took us from Woking Leisure Centre to Hoebridge Golf Course. A lovely walk through White Rose Lane Nature Reserve.
Great to be back at St Johns Fete on the 24 June. Our Jam Jar Tombola was a huge success.
For our "Eating for Pleasure" outing in June, members visited The Sun, Chobham for a lovely evening meal.

Our President and Treasurer visited St Johns School, Knaphill following our donation towards school books for their library. The children were very enthusiastic and made us feel very welcome.
